TV talent show veteran Eva Iglesias is hoping tonight is third time lucky after another attempt to become a star.
The supermarket worker, who has already been rejected by The Voice and The X Factor, told judges on ITV's Britain's Got Talent she was putting recent heartbreak behind her to sing a version of Carole King's (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.
She told them: "I was that close to not coming today. My heart was broken this week by the person that I love. They just didn't want to love me anymore."
The 40-year-old, who works as a personal shopper in a Southampton supermarket, said she was ready to swap shelves for the stage.
She said: "It's a fun job but if I could sing full-time without working in a supermarket it would be out of this world.
"I've auditioned a lot of times over the years and if you want something and you want to go and get it then you'll get it. Y ou have just have to believe in yourself".
The singer impressed the judges with Simon Cowell telling her: " You came out here and that is one of the most beautiful songs of all time, written by Carole King, and her heart was broken when she wrote that song. I understand why you were giving it what you gave it."
Less impressive was 33-year-old singer-songwriter Osiris Young from London who pursued a career in music after meeting Alesha Dixon in Corfu 12 years ago, where she told him to never give up.
But his performance of Coldplay's Sparks - complete with accompanying dance moves - left Dixon pleading ignorance when Cowell asked her what advice she gave him.
She said: " I don't know. It was 12 years ago".
