Gok Wan has revealed he is planning to wear a "risque" tie to host Royal Ascot.
The How To Look Good Naked star is joining Clare Balding on Channel 4 Racing's Royal Ascot team - and will be commenting on fashion and style live from the five-day race meeting later this month.
Gok admitted he will be putting his own twist on the strict formal dress code at the exclusive event, attended by The Queen.
He told Whats On TV: "I've got to wear a morning coat. Boys are allowed to change their shirt combination, but that's it. Everything has to be traditional, so I'll have the top hat, the striped trousers and waistcoat.
"But I've changed the tie which is apparently quite risque for Ascot.
"It's quite nice having to wear a uniform as I don't have to think about what I'm wearing, for once. As soon as I get out of there it'll be straight into sweatshirt, trainers and jeans."
The TV presenter is planning on asking Clare for some racing tips as he wants to have a flutter on the gee-gees.
And he confessed: "Live television is really scary anyway and doing it at such a massive event is quite terrifying. You've got all the atmosphere, ambience and then people screaming in your ear. You're trying to read your notes and then grabbing people.
"But I've done red carpet events before and that's the hardest presenting to do. I imagine it'll be a slightly watered-down version of that. Whatever happens, it's going to be exhausting."
