Joey Essex has apparently jetted off to America to hunt for little green men.
The former star of The Only Way Is Essex reportedly packed his bags and headed to the infamous Area 51 in the Nevada desert to shoot scenes for his TV show Educating Joey Essex.
But is seems he's more than a little scared about the possibility of an extra-terrestrial encounter.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "Joey is jumpy enough around wild animals, let alone searching for aliens in the dark.
"He's really freaked out by the idea, but he wants his show to be a success, so he's up for giving it a go."
Show bosses are said to believe Joey's search for UFOs will be "TV gold".
Joey, 23, has already dropped hints about his trip, tweeting earlier this week: "Airport in USA... Got 2 longgggg longggggg flights... What's errp?..."
He also posted pictures on his Instagram page of a deserted area that could have been Area 51, with the message: "I have been some strange places. This is one of them #TheMiddleOfNOWHERE."
Discussing the series earlier this year, executive producer Phil Harris said: "Joey's list of things that he wants to learn about are eclectic to say the least! We can't wait to bring ITV2 viewers everything from football to aliens, the Joey Essex way. "
